I’m going to start with… wow. Because wow, I did not expect to ever find such a great, supportive RP community on this website. It blows me away how much love and compassion I see on my dash every day, whether its in the form of signal boosting posts for people in need, or through the positivity blogs that spring up daily. Of course, there’s always petty crap going on, too, some days people leave their blogs not feeling too good, and I’m sorry to everyone who has ever been on the receiving end of that. It’s not deserved, and it’s not right.

But right now I’m going to celebrate all the amazing followers I’ve gotten over the last year and a half, who for some reason have decided that they want to see me on their dash every day. Having support for what you love doing is a great feeling, and I’m privileged to have made so many friends on this website and to have learned the life lessons I have. This is a shoutout to those people, and others who I’ve admired from afar. It’s in no way exhaustive, and I’m sure I haven’t even begun to scratch the surface of this community and its members. I’m also equally sure I’ve forgotten hundred people because it’s almost midnight and I’ve had a long day. But know that it takes all of you to make this community what it is, not just the handful of people below.

I have so much fun with everything single one of you, and my life hasn’t been the same since you guys all busted into it. Shit-talker, my fellow, very angry and very salty Rachael ;), grandma, thirsty-for-blondes-and-boybands-and-Britney-and-bees, my fave green-inside blueberry, rescuer and fellow coup-stager, Mary???? and my sun and stars. You guys are what it feels like to fulfil squad goals. I am grateful for all of you.

And, to @ribbonsandbo, thank you for bringing Bo onto Tumblr. You don’t have a lot to go off, and you probably never will, but getting to interact with Bo and unofficially adopt her has been a great character builder for Kitty, and its a pleasure to have you in the Katyana family.

Betcha thought I wasn’t going to write anything special for you, huh? Loser.

Aimee, you are an incredibly talented and gifted writer. You understand every character you take on at a really deep and intimate level. You get their complexities and their flaws and everything in between and it shows in the passion with which you talk about your muses and write for them. I try to emulate all those things, but what I’m always most impressed by, and blown away every day by, and in complete jealous awe of is just how well you understand how your characters speak. Their inflections and their tone and the vocabulary they use, I will never be as good as you are at that. I don’t even understand how you do it. You just do.

And don’t even get me started on your theme skillz. Or the person behind the blog, because then I might cry about how much you mean to me and what I’ve become and learned about myself because of you. So we’ll just fade to black here, I think.
