She’d made her attempts at saying no, to which hes responded to by saying no to her no. It was complex and it was confusing and it was all she could do but brood over it in a display that was ultimately more Dick then Kitty. But as he pulled her closer she nestled, out of habit or out of want only she could say and she most certainly wouldn’t. Her nose brushed his cheek as he spoke a sort of sullen pout dissolving as she mumbled into his neck avoiding the problem with all her might, “We’re really good at dancing in any case.”
