     He keeps that typical smirk etched onto his lips as arms fold effortlessly across his chest, donning the green robes this little Ravenclaw child completely detested. He was proud to be in his house, proud to carry the namesake with all its’ implications and symbolism but when it came to branching out to other houses? Not such an easy feat. Yet he tries– at least with this one he does – 

        “Just means you gotta try harder to get in. More like guidelines anyway.”

     Eyes glance around the more or less empty area of the library before continuing further, knowing that while this was essentially a pointless endeavour you never know until you try.

               “I see your sister hangin’ round our common room y’know. Grabs a lot of attention it does.”

     The more he spoke the harder she penned her notes, taking out all the microagressions of the day that had unfolded on top of her rather then in front of her in that very instant until the tip of the quill went through the paper. “Rules are not guidelines.” Although she refused to look at him her head tilted in his direction as she spoke. “They’re rules.”

Did he want her to get sent back to Chicago? Well, of course he didn’t. He didn’t know she was from Chicago. Based on the accent he probably didn’t even know where Chicago was.”That’s hardly my fault.” Or problem, she thought putting down her quill and taking a deep breath to calm herself. “Most folks don’t even know we’re two different people. How did you?”
