    She sweeps past him with barely as much as a glance in his direction nor acknowledgment to what he said beyond quick brush off. It’s such a foreign situation to him, one the wizard can’t quite wrap his head around when he tries to think of just where he screwed up (aside from the initial clash). He sidesteps past the typical traffic of the halls, working to catch up with the Ravenclaw who’d piqued his interest and completely stolen his attention.  ❛I didn’t actually get your name.❜ He ditches the jokes for once (despite having a clever one on the tip of his tongue just begging to be said) in favor of a more casual approach, papers in hand with every step.

    Having found her peace of mind after leaving him behind when he spoke again she jumped, nearly dropping her text book again before scrambling to catch it midair. There’s a glance, quick and with sharp eyes as per the new usual he’s initiated, before she turned back to look forward and only forward to prevent bumping into more and gaining a bigger following. “That’s because I didn’t give it to you.”  There was less spite in this reply and more explanation, as though he needed that extra patience to get through his thick skull. “It wasn’t really a conversation.”
